Job Title : Head of Engineering

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our technology organization and drive our engineering excellence across all departments. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong technical foundation, proven experience in managing high-performing teams, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Strategy :

  • Define and execute the company’s engineering vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee all engineering functions including software development, DevOps, QA, infrastructure, and data engineering.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape technology roadmaps and ensure technology supports business growth and innovation.

Team Management :

  • Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, managers, and technical leads.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement best practices in team organization, communication, and performance evaluation.

    • Technical Excellence :

  • Ensure high-quality software delivery through modern engineering practices, automation, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Oversee architectural decisions, scalability, and system performance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

    • Process & Operations :

  • Establish engineering policies, standards, and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams for smooth execution of projects.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for technology functions.

    • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams (50+ members preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of modern technology stacks, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
