Job description

We’re hiring a Facilities Manager for our client, a leading educational organisation with multiple campuses.

As the Facilities Manager, your responsibilities would be :

  • Oversee day-to-day campus facility operations across all locations, ensuring timely maintenance of buildings, classrooms, and infrastructure.
  • Manage housekeeping, security, and campus ambience while leading teams of technicians and support staff.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, monitor AMC contracts, and manage facility-related consumables.
  • Ensure statutory compliance for facilities, fire safety, and building codes, including liaising with government authorities.
  • Manage facility budgets, drive cost-optimisation initiatives, and maintain asset registers.

Requirements

  • 6 –12 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-location facilities, with a preference for experience in schools or educational institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety norms, vendor management, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience standardising processes and SOPs across multiple units.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with principals, admin staff, and operations teams.
  • Ethical conduct with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
