In the SDET II role, the candidate will play a crucial role in developing robust, scalable, and high-quality automated testing solutions for our no-code / low-code web application. He / She will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional software by integrating quality assurance throughout the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong foundation in both automation and manual testing, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and efficient automated test frameworks and test suites for our low-code / no-code web application
- Implement end-to-end, integration, and API tests using modern tools like Playwright to validate application functionality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, DevOps) to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test strategies
- Create, execute, and analyse manual test cases for new features, complex user journeys, and exploratory testing when necessary
- Identify, document, and track software defects rigorously, and work with the development team to facilitate resolution
- Champion quality best practices by participating in code reviews, design discussions, and contributing to the CI / CD pipeline to enable shift-left testing
- Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to the overall improvement of the team's testing processes and tools

2+ years of professional experience in test automation for web applicationStrong proficiency in JavaScript for writing automated test scriptHands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation is highly preferred. Experience with similar modern frameworks (Cypress, Selenium WebDriver) is acceptable, but a willingness to master Playwright is requiredSolid understanding of web technologies : DOM, CSS Selectors, HTML5, and HTTP / HTTPS protocolExperience with testing complex front-end architectures, including MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) and Web ComponentProven ability in creating and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports for both automated and manual testingExperience with version control systems like GitDesirable Skills
