Job Title : Solar Designer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and cost-effective solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. You will work closely with the engineering, project management, and sales teams to deliver high-quality solar system layouts, energy production estimates, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

Design solar PV systems using software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.

Analyze site survey data (roof dimensions, shading, azimuth, tilt, etc.) and develop optimal system layouts.

Prepare system designs including -line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, and bill of materials (BOM).

Estimate energy production, system losses, and performance ratios.

Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, grid standards, and safety norms.

Collaborate with engineers, installers, and project managers throughout project lifecycle.

Update designs based on feedback, site changes, or new client requirements.

Stay updated with the latest solar technologies, design practices, and industry trends.
