Key Responsibilities :
- ETL Development & Optimization : Design, build, and maintain robust ETL workflows using Matillion ETL.
You'll be responsible for optimizing ETL jobs and troubleshooting performance issues to ensure data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and error-free.
Data Migration & Transformation : You will be a key player in data migration projects, handling data profiling and transforming data from source systems to a data warehouse.Cloud & SQL Expertise : Leverage your in-depth knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3).You will use your advanced proficiency in SQL / PLSQL for complex data querying, manipulation, and optimization.Client Collaboration : Work directly with clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality data solutions on projects with tight deadlines.Process Improvement : Contribute to the overall data strategy by working in an Agile environment and continuously seeking ways to improve data modeling and ETL practices.Technical Skills :
Matillion : Strong, hands-on experience with Matillion ETL (version 4.x or later) and Matillion DPC (Data Productivity Cloud).Database : Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL.Cloud Platforms : In-depth experience with cloud data platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3).Data Engineering : Expertise in data migration, data profiling, and data modeling principles (star schema, snowflake schema).Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.Big Data : Familiarity with big data frameworks like Spark.Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI / CD practices.Certifications (Preferred) : Cloud certification from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience & Education :
Experience : A minimum of 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data integration.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Matillion in cloud environments.
Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus
