About the Role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and technically skilled Analyst to join our Technology Solutions team. This role focuses on delivering expert calculation and automation analysis to support client implementations and ongoing operations. You’ll play a key part in interpreting complex pension data, designing high-quality solutions, and mentoring peers across the analyst community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide calculation and automation expertise for client implementations and system operations
Analyse scheme documentation, actuarial instructions, and data sets to support accurate pension calculations
Translate client requirements into clear, testable specifications and documentation
Develop and execute robust testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document functional changes to core products and tools
Lead technical discussions, mentor junior analysts, and drive best practices across the team
Stay current with pensions legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance and innovation
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of UK(preferable) / US pensions legislation and administration software
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Proven leadership in technical forums and mentoring roles
6 to 10 years of total relevant experience
Desirable
Experience in Employee Benefits or Life & Pensions industries
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or ITIL methodologies
Knowledge of calculation engines and programming principles
