About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic professional who can independently handle
Staffing
legal / contracts, compliance, and backend operations
for our India and US recruitment business. Since our team size is lean, we are looking for a versatile candidate who can manage multi-domain responsibilities including reporting, contracts management, compliance monitoring, HR support, and backend process optimization.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and can balance
data, contracts, and compliance tasks
efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing Legal & Contract Management
Draft, review, and negotiate
MSA, SOW, SLA, NDA, Vendor Agreements, Legal Notices, and Replies .
Handle
end-to-end contracts management
across
US, India, and Canada
operations (negotiations, redlining, vetting, abstracting, carve-outs, and documentation as per client needs).
Maintain records of all legal and compliance documentation.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely contract execution.
2. Compliance & HR Backend
Manage
COI renewals, I-9 verification, W9, W8 BEN, W4, and other compliance forms .
Ensure smooth and timely completion of
W2 onboarding and compliance checks .
Handle candidate
background checks (BGC)
and operate respective verification portals.
Support HR in ensuring compliance with
state labor laws (India & US) .
Assist in
exit interviews, employee benefits, statutory compliance, trade compliance, and HR policy implementation .
3. Operations & Finance Support
Coordinate with HR and finance teams for
timesheets, invoices, and payment-related matters .
Map backend processes and implement compliance monitoring systems.
Support leadership in ensuring
timely client deliveries
and compliance-driven operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in
Staffing contracts / legal compliance, and HR backend
(preferably in recruitment or staffing domain).
Strong expertise in
MS Excel, Word, PDF, and PowerPoint .
Proven experience in
drafting / reviewing contracts and legal notices .
Knowledge of
India & US compliance laws
(I-9, W2, W9, W8BEN, COI, etc.).
Strong business communication skills, including professional
email writing and PPT presentation .
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to multitask across Legal, contracts, compliance, and HR operations independently.
