Head Sales will be responsible for driving B2B sales, engaging with key clients, and establishing market leadership for an AI-based quality assessment platform. This role involves strategic sales initiatives, client engagement, market expansion, and leading sales teams to maximize revenue.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Thrive in an independent work environment, taking ownership of your sector and driving sales initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Hunt and create opportunities along with the Inside sales team.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure a perfect fit between our product offerings and the needs of the market. Provide valuable insights to influence product development decisions.
- Own and drive the B2B sales pipeline, targeting C-level executives. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to convert leads, convert prospects, and achieve sales targets.
- Engage with clients, understanding their pain points and business challenges. Showcase the value proposition of our product and how it can drive client productivity and success.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings. Position yourself as an expert to effectively communicate the value of our products and understand client needs.
- Conduct market mapping activities to identify potential clients and open new doors.
- Proactively contact clients for future business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Training, guiding, managing, and evaluating both inside sales and customer relations team members.
- Do primary and secondary market re search on quality assessment of agri-output.
- Tracking success metrics of both inside sales and customer relations and reporting directly to the CEO.
- Building and leading an outbound sales process in the future to ensure long-term success.
Experience and Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum 10 years in business development, sales, and market research, preferably in the agriculture sector.Strong knowledge of agricultural market functions and supply chains.Ability to identify and convert market opportunities into business growth.Data-driven and analytical mindset for strategic decision-making.Excellent communication and leadership skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
