Job Overview :
Drive deal origination, client acquisition and strategic partnerships within a dynamic private equity ecosystem. This role blends market research, networking and consultative selling to convert high-value relationships into M&A advisory and transformation mandates.
As a key member of our team, you will :
- Originate & qualify opportunities with PE firms, portfolio companies and corporates across priority sectors.
- Build and manage a pipeline of buy-side, sell-side and transformation mandates.
- Develop trusted relationships with Managing Partners, Operating Partners, Investment Directors and CXOs.
- Partner with consulting teams to convert qualified leads into signed engagements.
- Conduct sector / company research to support targeting, diligence and proposals.
- Track KPIs and continuously improve outreach and conversion strategies.
- Represent the company in client calls, investor discussions and partnership forums.
Key Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance or Management, or related fields.Three (3) years experience in business development, consulting, investment banking or PE / M&A.Outstanding communication, analysis and relationship-building skills.Proven ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced global environment.Comfortable collaborating across U.S. time zones with senior executives.Entrepreneurial mindset, strong follow-through and high attention to detail.Prior exposure to private equity or corporate development is a strong plus.Performance Metrics :
Volume and quality of new opportunities generated.Ability to make 50-100 calls per day.Conversion rate from qualified leads to active mandates.Depth of relationships across PE and corporate networks.Contribution to revenue and client acquisition goals.Responsiveness, research accuracy and communication excellence.Reporting Structure :
Reports to Director / CEO.Collaborates with Consulting, Research and Strategic Partnerships.
