Job descriptionEnsuring 100% compliance with all GST (Goods and Services Tax) regulations, including timely and accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns. Managing TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliances, including calculation, deposit, and timely filing of quarterly returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16 / 16A). Handling all aspects of Income Tax (IT) compliance, including preparation of computation of total income and filing of corporate / business income tax returns. Staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the retail sector. Complete handling of internal and statutory audits, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors. Preparing all necessary schedules, reports, and documentation required for a smooth audit process. Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced business environment. Expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP / Prime is mandatory. In-depth, practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and IT compliance. Strong understanding of accounting principles (Indian GAAP). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Location : Dhekiajuli, Assam Salary Range : ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 per month (Commensurate with experience and expertise) Employment Type : Full-Time Reporting To : Management

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of Indian tax laws and exceptional proficiency in Tally.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of financial and accounting functions, including :
Accounting and Financial Management
- Managing the complete day-to-day accounting cycle up to finalization of accounts.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals using Tally ERP / Prime software.
- Handling bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports for senior management.
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
Audit and Internal Control
