The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with [IFRS / GAAP / local standards].
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Lead general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidation processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Support the annual audit process by preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
Mentor and support junior accountants and finance staff

Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s is a plus).
5+ years
of accounting experience, preferably in a U.S.-based company or serving U.S. clients.
Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP , internal controls, and financial reporting.
Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g.,
QuickBooks ,
NetSuite ,
SAP ,
Xero , or
Oracle ).
Advanced
Microsoft Excel
skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
