We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations for our US employees using ADP. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, multi-state payroll processing, statutory compliance, and hands-on experience working with ADP Workforce Now / ADP Enterprise / ADP Run.
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll for US employees (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly as applicable).
Manage payroll activities using ADP payroll systems including employee setup, compensation updates, benefits deductions, and wage adjustments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
Handle multi-state payroll, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and terminations.
Review and validate payroll data accuracy including hours, overtime, leaves, reimbursements, and shift differentials.
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee records, audits, and reconciliation.
Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, year-end W-2 and W-4 forms.
Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.
6- 8 years of US payroll processing experience , including multi-state payroll.
Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now / ADP Enterprise / ADP Run).
Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, FLSA, federal & state tax rules.
Experience with payroll audits, compliance, and automated reporting tools.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems.
Knowledge of payroll for 1099 contractors is an added advantage.
CPP certification preferred (not mandatory).
