Position : Node.js + Networking Engineer

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Location : Bangalore & Pune (Hybrid)

Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 5 to 8 years of experience and a strong understanding of networking concepts. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain backend services while working closely on systems that require network-level knowledge and communication.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
Integrate applications with network-based systems and APIs
Work with networking protocols like TCP / IP, HTTP, WebSockets, DNS
Troubleshoot and resolve backend and network-related issues
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams for deployment and testing

Required Skills :

58 years of experience in backend development with Node.js

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols

Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks

Knowledge of API development and integration (REST, JSON, WebSockets)

Familiarity with Linux-based environments and shell scripting

Version control using Git

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field

Experience with network security, firewalls, proxies, and authentication

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience in building network monitoring or automation tools

Networking certification will be added advantage
