Software Engineering (SWE) Renewables and Ocean Structures (ROS) is seeking a team lead for the Pune unit. You will be part of our Strength Assessment team and play a key role in the future development of DNV Sesam software (). You will routinely interact with colleagues around the world.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Pune development team in enhancing and renewing our Finite Element (FE) software. Hands-on experience in C# is required.
Your day to day will include :
- Lead the Pune development team with focus on design and development of our Sesam structural solvers and associated tools, and migrate existing modules into new solutions
- Drive end-to-end development of new solutions and features, from end-user requirements, specification and architecture to implementation and testing
- Keeps commitment to scope, time and resource usage
- Maintain knowledge and competence of state-of-art solutions and contribute to thought leadership within
- Cooperation and networking within and outside DNV
- Assist product manager, marketing, technical support and sales to understand customers’ need from a technical point of view
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications with respect to computational performance, scalability, and memory footprint
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments within relevant technology (examples : AI, programming languages, design principles)
This position requires flexibility to work across Europe & Asia time zones as needed.
