Job descriptionCollect blood samples from patients using various techniques such as venipuncture, fingerstick, or heelstick Ensure proper patient identification and accurate labeling of blood samples with patient information Transport blood samples to the laboratory while maintaining sample integrity through proper handling and storage Monitor patients during and after blood collection, providing care and support as needed Maintain accurate records of blood collections and patient interactions, complying with all regulations and guidelines Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure correct sample collection and handling Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment and work area Dispose of used needles and materials according to safety protocols
