Site Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a

Site Engineer (Interior)

who will oversee the execution of interior fit-out and finishing works on-site. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of materials, finishes, and on-site coordination, ensuring high-quality work and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all on-site interior works, including civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing activities.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Prepare and review daily site reports, work progress, and manpower requirements.

Ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations at the site.

Monitor material usage and coordinate with the procurement team for timely deliveries.

Verify and ensure accuracy of measurements, BOQs, and drawings before execution.

Attend project meetings and report site progress, challenges, and requirements.

Manage subcontractors and labor teams to ensure productivity and workmanship quality.

Handle snag lists and ensure rectifications before project handover.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture or related field.

1–3 years of experience in

interior fit-out or turnkey interior execution .

Strong understanding of

interior materials, joinery, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and MEP coordination .

Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings.

Basic knowledge of project management and site safety practices.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

Experience working with corporate, commercial, or residential interior projects.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project (or similar tools).

Familiarity with sustainable materials and modern design execution techniques.
