About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Tech Lead (Migration Lead Engineer) to join our Infrastructure & Platform Engineering team.

In this role, you will lead large-scale cloud migration initiatives —ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability across AWS and containerized environments. You’ll collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to automate deployments , enhance monitoring, and drive continuous optimization in performance and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects and ensure seamless transition of workloads to AWS.

✅ Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure .

✅ Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python to enhance platform efficiency.

✅ Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation (Terraform knowledge is a plus).

✅ Manage container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes .

✅ Build and manage CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD .

✅ Configure and optimize system monitoring using AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace , and other observability tools.

✅ Troubleshoot complex cloud, network, and container issues with root cause analysis.

✅ Collaborate with security, compliance, and DevSecOps teams to ensure governance standards.

✅ Document best practices, architectures, and operational workflows .

Required Skills & Qualifications

🔹 Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

🔹 Hands-on expertise with AWS services and CloudFormation templates .

🔹 Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes for container orchestration.

🔹 Proficiency with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch .

🔹 Experience managing CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).

🔹 Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking , and cloud-native architectures .

🔹 Familiarity with Ansible or similar configuration management tools ( Terraform is a plus).

🔹 Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

🌐 Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and cost optimization strategies .

📊 Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack .

🏅 Relevant Certifications :

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
• ⚙️ Exposure to microservices architecture and DevSecOps practices.
