About the Role :

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is responsible for leading the insourcing (a transition from a contractor to in-house delivery) of cleaning services for the Canberra Hospital campus and Community Health Care Facilities from 1 October 2026. It is also leading the transition to insourcing cleaning services and food services at the North Canberra Hospital and Clare Holland House from 1 October 2027.

The Project Officer will focus on activities associated with the engagement and support of the transitioning workforce, as well as providing a central point of contact for the workforce to ask questions and obtain information on the onboarding process. This includes planning and developing key documents and workflows to support the recruitment process and manage the assessment of a candidate’s eligibility for an offer of employment in the ACT Public Service (ACTPS).
