Job Description

This is a  sales-owning  role. You will  own online Net Sales / GMV and Contribution Margin  across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), our website (Shopify) and quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart). You’ll lead the agency and internal ops to  hit monthly / quarterly revenue targets , keep  availability >

95% , protect  price integrity , and scale profitably.

Core Responsibilities (with ownership)

Revenue Ownership & Planning

Own monthly / quarterly  Net Sales / GMV target  and  CM% .

Build the  SKU × channel sales plan ; align inventory, promos, and media to the plan.

Demand Forecasting & Availability

8–12 week forecast by  SKU × FC / dark store ; set  min / max  and reorder points.

Drive  >

95% in-stock  and  >

95% fill rate ; eliminate chronic OOS with RCA + fixes.

Pricing, Promotions & P&L

Enforce  MRP / MAP , parity, and  buy-box .

Run promo calendar with  deal economics  (targets for lift, ROI, and CM%); own approvals.

Performance Marketing & Media Mix (via agency)

Set  ROAS / TACOS  targets by channel; align keyword strategy to the sales plan.

Weekly spend pacing vs revenue; cut waste, double down on winners.

Digital Shelf & Assortment Growth

Content standards (titles, bullets, images, A+ / rich).

Improve  share of search , keyword ranks, and ratings / reviews; own NPI listing readiness.

Quick-Commerce Execution

Maintain  live availability  by dark store; optimize pack sizes, lead times, expiry buffers.

Win  assortment share  in category; rapid OOS recovery.

Operations, Claims & Compliance

SLA ownership : on-time dispatch, cancellations / returns, claim / reconciliation closures.

Guardrails for discounts, coupons, and unauthorized pricing.

Agency / Vendor Leadership & Governance

Run  WBR / MBR  with clear targets; maintain issue / RCA tracker with owners & due dates.

Negotiate and evaluate agency performance against revenue and CM goals.

Analytics & Reporting

Daily  sales / stock  dashboard; weekly performance deck to leadership.

Maintain clean SKU master; GA4 / BI for funnel, CAC, and cohort insights.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • Net Sales / GMV vs Plan :  ≥100% (primary KPI)
  • Contribution Margin % :  at / above target
  • Availability / Ops :  OOS%

    Decision Rights & Budget Authority

  • Approve  promos / discounts  within guardrails,  media budgets  within monthly plan, and  assortment  per channel.
  • Sign-off on replenishment plan and  NPI go-live  readiness.
  • Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–8 years  in e-commerce; proven  revenue target ownership  (please add numbers in resume).
  • Hands-on with  Amazon Seller Central / Flipkart Seller Hub / Blinkit / Zepto panels ,  Shopify ,  Unicommerce
  • Strong Excel / Sheets (pivots, XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH, PowerQuery)
  • Commercial mindset (promo P&L, CM%, ROAS / TACOS) + operational rigor.
  • FMCG / CPG experience preferred; quick-commerce exposure is a strong plus.
  • Education :  Any Graduate; MBA / PGDM preferred (not mandatory)
