Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager for TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated) Products . This pivotal role involves driving sales, effectively managing and expanding distributor and dealer networks, and significantly increasing the market share of TMT steel products within the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Revenue Generation :
- Achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for TMT products in the assigned territory.
- Drive sales through robust dealer / distributor networks and direct sales to key clients.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market penetration and revenue streams.
- Market Development :
- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to enhance brand visibility and product adoption.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, analyze competitor activities, and identify emerging industry trends.
- Organize and lead impactful promotional activities such as contractor meets, dealer events, and product demonstrations.
- Dealer and Distributor Management :
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with dealers, distributors, and other channel partners.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and facilitate the timely delivery of products to channel partners.
- Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to channel partners on product features, benefits, and effective sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Actively engage with contractors, builders, and architects to effectively promote TMT products.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly and efficiently, and ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Gather valuable feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and enhance overall customer experiences.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA in Sales / Marketing is a significant plus.Experience : 4-6 years of proven experience in sales , preferably within the steel / TMT industry or building materials sector .Product Knowledge : Strong understanding of the TMT product market and its diverse applications.Negotiation & Communication : Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.Channel Management : Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate dealer / distributor networks.Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a relentless focus on achieving sales targets.Key Performance Indicators : Proven track record in :Sales target achievement (volume and revenue).Growth in dealer / distributor network.Market share expansion in the assigned territory.Customer satisfaction and retention rates.Skills Required
