Principal Purpose of the Job.
As an individual contributor, the Solution Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through consultative and solution-based selling of software products and technology solutions-primarily in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain.
Key Responsibilities.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle - from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals, billing, and collections.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve assigned targets.
- Identify customer needs and pain points to propose tailored software solutions.
- Map decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Generate leads through multiple channels and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct detailed customer and market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Promote industry-specific solutions, focusing on BFSI and other tech-driven verticals.
- Manage and grow key strategic accounts through relationship building and account planning.
- Serve as a product / solution evangelist, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Develop thought-leadership content and compelling sales presentations.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategic decisions.
Desired Profile.
Proven track record in software product or solution sales, preferably in Banking, NBFC, or Insurance sectors.Engineering graduates with an MBA will be preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.Highly passionate, self-driven, and result-oriented professional.Demonstrated field sales experience with success in closing medium to large-size solution deals.(ref : iimjobs.com)
