Manual Tester - Software Quality Assurance

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester to join our team at Digilantern, responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing and a strong background in manual testing methodologies.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify defects and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
Conduct thorough analysis of software applications to identify potential defects and bugs.
Create detailed bug reports and track progress until resolution.
Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

Experience with manual testing techniques, including black box and white box testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
