Role & Responsibilities :
We are looking for an
AVP / Director / Head–Sales & Revenue
who will own & drive the entire revenue charter for EC’s Digital Agency & Tech business vertical. This is not a passive sales role, this is about being the face of Experience Commerce in the market, leading new client conversations, shaping pitches & ensuring sustained growth from new client acquisition & client retention. You’ll lead a small but sharp team of 3–4 members, but the ownership of the numbers will sit squarely with you.
What You’ll Do :
- Drive end-to-end revenue generation across Digital Agency services (creative, media, digital marketing) & Tech services (web, app, ODC models).
- Own the new business pipeline : prospecting, qualifying, pitching, & closing deals with mid to large enterprise clients.
- Act as the face of EC in new client pitches-lead presentations, build narratives, and co create solutions with strategy, creative, and tech leads.
- Identify cross-sell & up-sell opportunities within Cheil network accounts, while opening doors with new clients in BFSI, Auto, Consumer Electronics, Retail, and FMCG.
- Lead and mentor a sales pod of 3–4 executives / managers, ensuring smart hunting, consistent follow-ups, and target alignment.
- Work closely with the Business heads to shape revenue forecasts, GTM strategies & productized service bundles.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with client decision makers (CMOs, Heads of Digital, Tech leaders).
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and feed insights into EC’s growth strategy
What We’re Looking For :
10–15 years of experience in business development / revenue roles within digital agencies only. (Background in creative / digital strategy, media, or mar tech sales preferred).Strong track record of winning mid-to-large deals in at least two of these verticals : BFSI, Auto, Retail, FMCG, Consumer Tech.Excellent pitch craft - you can command a room, tell a story, and close.A sharp understanding of digital agency service lines (creative, social, media, tech builds) and comfort with tech discussions.Hustler mindset : comfortable with targets, proactive pipeline building, and hands-on selling.Team leadership experience, but equally comfortable rolling up sleeves and leading pitches personally.A mix of strategic thinking and street-smart selling - you know how to open doors and how to expand the mandate once inside.What’s in it for You
