BI Engineering Sr Manager

What we expect of you

• Masters degree and 8 to 10 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
• Bachelors degree and 10 to 14 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field OR
• Diploma and 14 to 18 years of experience in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Certifications on PowerBI / Any other visualization tools

Basic Qualifications :

• 10-14 + years of experience in BI, analytics, and data visualization, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in BI tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense similar enterprise BI platforms.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization principles, storytelling with data, and dashboard usability best practices.
• Experience in leading large-scale BI transformation initiatives, driving self-service analytics adoption across an enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling (star / snowflake schema), and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), or other analytics scripting languages.
• Strong background in BI governance, data security, compliance, and metadata management.
• Ability to influence senior leadership, communicate insights effectively, and drive business impact through BI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in Biotechnology or pharma industry is a big plus
• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or Federated Data Governance models.
• Experience with AI / ML-driven BI solutions, predictive analytics, and NLP-based BI capabilities.
• Knowledge infrastructure & deploayment automation for visualization platforms.
• Experience integrating BI with ERP, CRM, and operational systems (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for BI project delivery.
