Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Pega Customer Service applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working with global teams in international markets. This role requires deep knowledge of Pega platform capabilities, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Development :
- Design and develop end-to-end Pega Customer Service solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Pega best practices.
- Configure, customize, and optimize Pega applications using rule types such as UI rules, Flows, Flow Actions, Harnesses, Integrations, Agents, Activities, and more.
- Participate actively in requirements gathering, solution design, construction, implementation, and deployment phases.
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture guidelines, guardrails, and quality standards.
- Lead troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning using tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, SMA, Live UI, and PDC (if applicable).
Technical Leadership & Collaboration :
Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members.Collaborate with integration teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to manage cross-functional technical challenges.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies to support iterative delivery.DevOps, Deployment & Migration :
Support and implement DevOps practices for code versioning, CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.Contribute to Pega upgrades, application migrations, and database migrations, ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.Utilize rules management tools for export / import, skimming, refactoring, and bulk processing as required.Performance, Security & Compliance :
Apply best practices in enterprise security protocols, access management, and data handling in accordance with compliance standards.Monitor and optimize application performance using platform diagnostics and performance monitoring tools.Ensure API integrations follow enterprise and industry-standard design patterns.Required Qualifications :
5+ years of overall Pega experience with hands-on application development.4+ years as a practicing Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) across multiple accounts or projects.Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is mandatory.Strong experience working in international markets such as Australia, Europe, or the US (minimum 1 year).Proven track record with Agile development methodologies and DevOps tools / practices.Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and drive outcomes.Good-to-Have Skills :
