GTSM Markets - Risk & Control Lead

Join us as a GTSM Markets - Risk & Control Lead. At Barclays, every day is an opportunity to innovate, where you'll spearhead the evolution of our GTSM function by maintaining our maturity on various risk and control metrics (KRP, KPI and DCs) which allows us to ensure Application Stability & Reliability. You will be focusing on collaborating for controls implementation, monitoring and reporting and ensure that operational processes and technology services are running within our risk appetite. You will be translating risk & control framework into day-to-day service delivery activities, track and report control health metrics and maintain dashboards for stakeholders / regulatory submissions. You will be responsible for supporting the business by driving technical projects and will bring multiple teams within the functional area to remain compliant, adopt industry best practices, eliminate manual touch points. You will be working alongside multiple cross functional teams like IT, compliance , risk , internal Audit, COO etc.

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

• Solid Technical Project Management skills – ability to run multiple projects and cyber initiatives across regions.
• Solid knowledge of Risk & Control framework, Technology standards, Cyber controls, and regulatory expectations ( SOX,DORA etc).
• Metrics & Reporting - using dashboards for control effectiveness, risk reduction and program health.
• Strong Stakeholder management.
• Excellent operational execution and cross-functional alignment – working with IT, compliance , risk , internal Audit and leadership.
• Strong Process Improvement and Issue Escalation mindset.
• Ability to promote innovation awareness (Cloud, AI, Zero trust , AO, automation in controls).

This role is based in our Pune office.

Purpose of the role

To manage the IT Services department and set the strategic direction, provide support to the bank's senior management team, and to manage IT Service risk across the organisation management of IT Services to support the banks operations and representing Technology service performance with senior stakeholders and managing IT service risk across the organisation.
