Job Description : IT Cyber Defense Analyst - Intern

Location : Pune, India

Department : IT Cybersecurity / Security Operations Center (SOC)

Reports To : SOC Manager

About The Role

We're seeking a curious, driven, and detail-oriented Intern SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience in cyber threat monitoring, incident response, and security tools — all while learning from a world-class team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time security events and alerts via SIEM, EDR and SOAR tools
• Perform initial triage and escalate incidents as required
• Assist with incident documentation and reporting
• Participate in threat intelligence and daily briefings
• Support SOC analysts with log analysis and research
• Learn to identify phishing, malware, and intrusion patterns
• Help create or refine SOC playbooks and procedures
