Role Overview
The core of this job is to be the primary point of contact and support for international patients coming to India through IndiCure Health Tours. This is not a typical hospital-based role; it's a patient-interacting, position focused on coordinating and ensuring a seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities
To elaborate the job role, you will :
- Manage all patient communication : You are the main liaison for the international patients. This includes responding to emails, taking calls, and using various communication channels to answer questions and provide updates. You will be communicating with patients from different countries and cultures, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Handle scheduling and logistics : You'll be responsible for booking and confirming appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits with the partner hospitals and surgeons. This requires meticulous organization to manage multiple patient timelines and details simultaneously.
- Coordinate with medical teams : You will act as the bridge between the patient and the healthcare providers. This involves relaying patient information, medical histories, and specific needs to the doctors and hospital staff. You'll need to work closely with the hospital's dedicated international patient departments.
- Maintain patient records : You'll be responsible for keeping accurate and up-to-date patient details in CRM, which include medical history, treatment plans, and communication logs.
- Provide personalized support : Since IndiCure emphasizes a "family" approach, you'll be expected to go beyond basic administrative tasks. This can include addressing patient concerns, arranging local travel, or helping them with any inquiries to ensure they feel supported and comfortable throughout their medical journey.

Your ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally is paramount to building trust with patients who are far from home.Knowledge of Medical Terminology : While you won't be providing medical advice, you must understand basic medical terms to effectively communicate between the patient and the medical team.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities : You will likely be managing several patient cases at once, each with different timelines and requirements.
