Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including AP / AR, reconciliations, payroll, and compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of books.
- Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory dues.
- Oversee taxation (GST, TDS, corporate tax, etc.) and ensure regulatory compliance.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Provide actionable insights on cost optimization, revenue trends, and profitability.Support business teams with financial feasibility studies and ROI analysis.Reporting & Compliance
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and board-level presentations.Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit processes, and statutory reporting.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.Systems & Tools
Manage and optimize finance workflows on Zoho Books, Zoho Payrolll, Zoho Expense, Zoho Creator and Zoho Analyst (must-have).Leverage automation tools to streamline invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.Maintain strong data integrity and ensure efficient usage of finance software.Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with business, operations, and HR teams for seamless financial processes.Support fundraising due diligence and investor reporting as needed.Requirements
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.4+ years of relevant experience in finance / accounting roles.Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books, Zoho Payrolll, Zoho Expense, Zoho Creator and Zoho Analyst (mandatory).Solid understanding of Indian taxation, compliance, and accounting standards.Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and reporting.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Skills Required
