Technical Architect (Cloud Architect)

As a Senior Cloud Architect at Schneider Electric, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cloud-based solutions across our global infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure. This position requires a blend of strategic architectural design and practical hands-on ability to implement and manage complex cloud environments specifically for large scale data (or order of billions of data points per day) and large-scale management (100s of thousands) of devices deployed in the field.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust cloud architectures primarily for built environment with timeseries data
• Lead the migration of existing legacy cloud infrastructures to modern cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
• Support for hosting and configuration of critical services like Kafka, Timeseries DB
• Enhancement of the scalable data and event pipeline across the stack
• Architectural design for convergence of different offers into a single unified offer for Small and Mid-Size Buildings
• Develop and deploy microservices architectures, actively participating in coding and development when necessary.
• Manage the full lifecycle of deployment from architecture design through integration and maintenance.
• Support for performance testing of critical infrastructure components (both existing and planned revamp)
• Guide and mentor teams in developing modern cloud solutions, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to keep Schneider Electric at the forefront of technological innovation.
