Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and Vue.js.
  • Collaborate with UI / UX designers and product managers to implement responsive, user-centric interfaces.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and external data sources.
  • Develop and maintain relational database schemas using MySQL.
  • Ensure the application's performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code following modern PHP and JavaScript standards.
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards.
  • Convert business and functional requirements into detailed system designs and architecture.
  • Document features, APIs, technical specifications, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with DevOps for CI / CD pipeline integration, version control (Git), and deployment workflows.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web application development.
  • Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework (v8 or newer).
  • Solid experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3) including Vue CLI, Vuex, and component-driven development.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend workflows.
  • Deep understanding of MySQL including stored procedures, performance tuning, and complex joins.
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket).
  • Good understanding of MVC architecture, ORM (Eloquent), and Laravel middleware.
  • Working knowledge of unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and issue tracking tools like Jira or Trello.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of Webpack, Vite, or other build tools.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, Nginx / Apache, and Linux server environments.
