Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer with 36 years of experience to join our team in Pune.

The ideal candidate must have 3+ years dedicated to Go development and possess a proven portfolio of successfully deployed applications or services.

This role demands expertise in building robust, scalable software using Go's concurrency model, focusing intensely on performance optimization, maintaining coding standards, and effective collaboration within an Agile development environment.

Primary Responsibility & Core Functions :

Go Development and Architecture :

  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using the Go programming language, with a critical focus on high performance and reliability.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Golang for both microservices and monolithic architectures, showcasing strong knowledge of Go standard libraries.
  • Optimize software applications for maximum performance and efficiency, taking full advantage of Go's native concurrency capabilities (goroutines, channels, and the sync package).

API and Data Management :

  • Build robust and maintainable APIs, utilizing RESTful APIs and gRPC for the essential integration of Go-based applications with other systems and services.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of data storage solutions , including practical experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.

    • Quality Assurance and Collaboration :

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, error-free software, and troubleshoot issues related to functionality and performance.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain rigorous coding standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate abstract project requirements into well-designed and efficient production code.

    • Process and Innovation :

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Go language updates, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance development and deployment processes.
  • Utilize version control systems like Git effectively for collaboration and robust code manageability.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience : 3 to 6 years of professional experience, with 3+ years dedicated experience as a Golang Developer and a portfolio of successfully deployed Go applications / services.
  • Core Go : Expert proficiency in Golang for building both microservices and monolithic applications, demonstrating strong knowledge of the standard library.
  • Concurrency : Expertise in concurrent programming, specifically utilizing goroutines, channels, and the sync package for performance optimization.
  • APIs & Integration : Familiarity with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
  • Databases : Solid understanding of data storage, including experience with PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
  • Methodology : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of designing scalable solutions, and ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
  • Tools : Experience with version control systems like Git.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
