Job Description
Zippee is looking for ambitious and analytical Assistant Program Managers (Operations) to join our team in Gurugram.In this role, you will sit at the intersection of dark store operations, last-mile delivery, and central P&L ownership . You will manage key workflows, launch projects across India, and work cross-functionally to improve efficiency, reduce cost-per-order, and ensure SLA adherence at scale.This is an incredible yet challenging launchpad role designed for future business leaders. You will start by managing programs and projects in Central Ops and grow into leading BUs at Zippee. Expect to don multiple hats : from problem-solver to on-ground operator to cross-functional collaborator, as you help drive execution and scale.This is a high-pressure, zero-handholding, unstructured environment, where no task is beneath you if it moves the mission forward. We move fast, we set a high bar, and we're not for everyone.Responsibilities
Program & Project Launches : Manage and launch key operational projects across India, from new dark stores to last-mile delivery pilots and central process rollouts.Process Excellence : Own central workflows and SOPs for dark store and last-mile operations; identify bottlenecks and implement scalable fixes.Metrics & Reporting : Track and improve KPIs such as delivery TATs, SLA adherence, store throughput, and cost-per-order. Build MIS dashboards and reports for leadership.Data-Driven Problem Solving : Analyze operational data to uncover inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support decision-making on fleet, manpower, and inventory.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with product, tech, finance, and city ops teams to solve operational challenges and drive automation.On-Ground Leadership : Travel across India to support store launches, fleet operations, audits, and expansion projects. Help create a rockstar culture amongst your team to scale to profitability.Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain from a top college / university; MBA is highly preferred.2-6 years of experience in Central Operations, program management, or supply chain.Proven experience in operations planning, execution, and problem-solving, with the ability to design and optimize processes.Strong analytical skills with comfort in using data, Excel / Sheets, and BI dashboards for decision-making.Hands-on experience with delivery metrics, SLA adherence, and supply chain costs.Prior exposure to team management, stakeholder management, and independent decision-making.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment and willingness to travel to execute projects on the ground.High ownership mindset with the drive to take initiatives from concept to execution.Bonus points : If you have early-stage Program or Operations experience in quick commerce / ecommerce logistics / courier companies.
