Job Summary
The primary focus of this position is to grow revenue of the Belden’s business in Australia. This will require a highly motivated sales professional with a strong business development and sales background in industrial cabling and connectivity solutions. The industry focus for this role includes Factory Automation, Process Automation, Energy, Transportation, IT / OT convergency. The successful candidate must be capable of working both independently and within a team to achieve outstanding results.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain close relationships with customers of all levels ranging from operations to executives, evaluate customer’s needs, identify selling opportunities, reach out to potential customers, and close deals to meet the sales target.
- Analyze competitors and keep track of the demand and competition (customer’s projects and competitor’s proposals) in the market, and strategically maintain as well as expand the market share to establish a sustainable sale with partners and customer.
- Coordinate across parties including both technical and non-technical teams to best deliver products or services to customers and to professionally facilitate effective communications between parties.
- Professionally apply sales-related tools / systems and document / report(e.g., quotation system, project tracking, sales forecast, company report, etc.) to improve sales productivity and to enhance company’s business.
Requirements
Degree level or above in a relevant field – Engineering or other technical field and / or Business (marketing, administration, economics) or possess a track record in professional career relevant to accountabilities of the roleProven track record within a sales role in vertical markets like Discrete automation, transportation, process automation, oil & gas.At least 5 years of experience in industrial cabling and connectivity solutionsExperience in Solution Sales especially in System Integration (SI) and End User business with proven track record is preferable.Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skillsGood communication and presentation skillsAbility to maintain and build close relationships with various customersThe job posting will close in 30 days on 22 November 2025.
