Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an Engineer. The Engineer will design, develop, and implement blockchain protocols and secure financial systems. Responsibilities include coding, testing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable software solutions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing applications, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Rust
• Experience with blockchain development, including smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps), and understanding of consensus algorithms
• Proficiency in database technologies and cloud platforms
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software architecture
• Create and maintain system design documentation effectively
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote, collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, or FinTech systems is a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
