Job Description :

Designation : Engineer
Department : PPC
Experience : 1 to 4 years
Location : Gandhinagar
Edu. Qualification : BE / B.Tech / Diploma - Mechanical

Roles and Responsibilities

Production Scheduling :

Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Allocate production tasks to different workstations and machines.

Adjust schedules to accommodate unexpected disruptions or changes in production requirements.

Capacity Planning :

Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks.

Optimize resource utilization to maximize production output.

Suggest equipment upgrades or process improvements to enhance capacity.

Material Planning :

Forecast raw material requirements to ensure timely delivery and prevent stock outs.

Coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory levels.

Monitor material usage and identify areas for cost reduction.

Performance Monitoring :

Track production progress against planned schedules and identify deviations.

Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality.

Collaboration :

Work closely with production teams, quality control, and maintenance departments to address issues and ensure smooth operations.

Communicate production plans and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Required skills and qualifications :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
