Location : Lucknow (On-site)

Job Type : Full-time

4PM News Network is one of India's fastest-growing digital news platforms. We are expanding our editorial and on-ground reporting team in Lucknow and hiring a confident, sharp, and dynamic News Anchor who can deliver impactful news bulletins, ground reports, and digital shows with strong command over Hindi.

Key Responsibilities On-Air Duties

Anchor daily news bulletins, debate shows, explainer videos, and special digital segments.
Present news with accuracy, clarity, and credibility while maintaining the channel's editorial standards.
Conduct live reporting, ground coverage, and interviews when required.
Write, edit, and voice scripts for on-air and digital content.
Deliver breaking news updates with speed and journalistic responsibility.

Reporting & Research

Coordinate with reporters, producers, and newsroom teams for story inputs.

Research topics thoroughly to ensure factual and crisp presentation.

Suggest story ideas, audience-relevant topics, and trending digital content.

Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to news planning.

Digital & Social Media

Shoot short-format videos (Reels / Shorts) for social media platforms.

Engage with audiences through social media live sessions when required.

Help conceptualize digital news formats tailored for YouTube and Instagram.

Production & Coordination

Work closely with camera, sound, and production teams for smooth show execution.

Review scripts, graphics, and on-screen elements before going live.

Maintain high on-screen presence and professional body language.

Requirements Must-Have

Excellent command over Hindi language and clear on-camera communication.

Strong news sense, awareness of current affairs, politics, society, and regional issues.

3–6 years of experience as a News Anchor / Reporter / Digital Anchor (freshers with exceptional talent may be considered).

Ability to handle studio anchoring as well as on-ground coverage.

Comfortable with fast-paced newsroom environment and tight deadlines.

Preferred

Experience with digital-first news platforms or YouTube news channels.

Basic understanding of video production, teleprompter handling, and digital scripting.

Confidence in front of the camera and natural storytelling ability.
