Business Analyst - Agile / Scrum

About The Role

EbizON is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of software development life cycles, systems integration, and data-driven decision-making.

You will serve as the link between the product / business team and the engineering team, helping shape scalable digital solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing technical processes, and ensuring accurate product delivery.

This is a tech-centric role requiring a solid grasp of APIs, databases, and system workflows, ideally in a fast-paced IT services or eCommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, define, and document technical requirements from business needs.
• Create detailed functional and non-functional requirement specifications (BRD, SRS).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and developers.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for API integration, data flows, and UI behavior.
• Conduct GAP analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
• Design wireframes, process flows, and user stories using modeling tools.
• Assist with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release documentation in Agile setups.
• Support QA during test case validation, UAT, and post-deployment verification.
• Track project metrics, risks, and timelines using project management Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; MBA (Systems / IT) is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or product-based organization.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile / Scrum, and DevOps workflows.
• Strong documentation skillsexperience with BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process Skills :
• API Understanding : RESTful APIs, JSON, Postman, Swagger
• Databases : SQL (basic to intermediate), data modeling concepts
• Wireframing & Modeling Tools : Balsamiq, Figma, Lucidchart, Draw.io
• Project & Collaboration Tools : JIRA, Confluence, Git, MS Project, ClickUp
• Analytics & Reporting : Excel (advanced), Google Analytics, Looker Studio (optional)
• Familiarity with eCommerce tech stacks like Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce is a plus.
• Basic understanding of CI / CD pipelines, microservices, and cloud-based deployments is to Have :
• Exposure to SaaS product workflows or marketplace platforms.
• Familiarity with front-end / backend architecture concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
