Overview The ServiceNow Lead will be responsible for the designing and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to meet LinkGroup needs. This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise on ServiceNow platform implementation, system integration, platform customization and performance optimization. Operational Management :
Design end to end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practicesTranslate business needs into technical specifications and define solution architecture for ServiceNow implementationsLeading the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow discovery, ensuring accurate and comprehensive identification and mapping of IT infrastructure components and relationshipsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish discovery patterns, define data reconciliation processes, and optimize discovery performanceEvaluate new releases, analyse impact on existing customizations and integrations, and develop upgrade strategies and implementationDesigning and implementation of CMDB solutions, ensuring accurate and up to date CI information, defining CI classes, relationships and attributes based on industry best practicesEstablish data governance practices and processes for maintaining CMDB accuracy and integrityProviding technical leadership and guidance to developers, administrators and business stakeholders involved in ServiceNow projectsEstablish and enforce governance frameworks, coding standards, and configuration guidelines for ServiceNow implementationsEnsuring adherence to security and compliance policies, data management practices and platform usage guidelinesEvaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization within the ServiceNow platform.People Leadership
Build and maintain working relationships with key team members, change, problem, release, capacity, and IT asset management along with multiple stakeholders within IT Service management Service and applicable capabilities.Governance & Risk :
Ensure compliance with legal, standards, and regulatory requirementsSupport Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices.Experience & Personal Attributes
Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in IT Service management, with at least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow architect or similar roleStrong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalitiesExtensive experience in ServiceNow discovery implementation, ServiceNow CMDB designing and implementationIn-dept understanding of ITSM, ITAM & ITOM modulesExpert in all areas of ServiceNow development and configuration including Business Rules, ACLs, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, Custom Applications etc.Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations technologies (REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, Database, Web etc) and integration patternsProficiency in JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, React, and XMLExperience and knowledge in other technology integrations such as OKTA, Active Directory (AD), SailPoint, Splunk and New Relic preferred.Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest ServiceNow developments and features.Strong knowledge of ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture and relational databases.ServiceNow certifications, such as CSA (Certified System Administrator) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) are highly desirableITIL v3 / v4 certification and education preferred.Excellent communication skills, including a level of written communication and reporting skills necessary to describe complex issues and actions clearly and concisely.Ability to speak confidently with functional colleagues, peers, and management.Ability to work in high pressure situations, follow processes and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.Self-Starter and a team player.The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time-to-time based on business needs.
