This role leads the strategy and execution for digital growth across Burgundy Brand Collective's portfolio. The eCommerce Business Head is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and customer experience across all online touchpoints, ensuring seamless alignment with the broader omnichannel business.
Key Responsibilities :
1. P&L and Business Ownership :
- Own P&L for the online vertical across brands; plan, forecast, and report business performance against defined objectives.
- Lead pricing, promotions, and discounting strategy to maximize margins while preserving brand equity.
- Manage marketing budgets and optimize CAC-to-LTV balance to achieve sustainable ROI.
- Develop channel-wise sales forecasts and implement initiatives to exceed revenue targets.
- Control overheads and ensure cost efficiency across digital operations.
2. Growth and Marketing :
Design and implement full-funnel marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.Oversee SEO, SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns with performance accountability.Build influencer, affiliate, and partnership programs to extend reach and awareness.Lead CRM segmentation, automation, and re-engagement programs to reduce churn and improve repeat purchase rates.Manage acquisition, activation, retention, and referral metrics with continuous funnel optimization.3. Platform, Technology, and Analytics :
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and digital tools (AI-driven personalization, recommendation engines, etc.).Optimize site performance, mobile responsiveness, and UX to enhance conversion and retention.Use analytics and A / B testing to identify friction points, refine user journeys, and improve checkout and upsell experiences.Provide actionable insights to merchandising and product teams based on customer data and purchase behavior.Ensure catalogue accuracy, tagging integrity, and search optimization for discoverability and conversion.4. Partner and Stakeholder Management :
Manage relationships with external agencies, marketing partners, and logistics providers to ensure consistent performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with content, brand, retail, merchandising, logistics, and finance teams to align demand and supply.Ensure smooth execution of eCommerce orders and integration with offline operations.5. Team Leadership :
Build and mentor a high-performing digital team with clear accountability and growth opportunities.Foster a data-led, experimentation-driven culture focused on innovation and measurable outcomes.Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; 8+ years' experience in digital marketing or eCommerce.Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitable online growth across multiple brands.Strong expertise in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, performance marketing, social commerce, influencer marketing).Hands-on experience with Shopify and related applications; familiarity with CRM and automation tools (email, WhatsApp, loyalty).Analytical mindset with capability to interpret data, track KPIs, and act swiftly on insights.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.Deep interest in luxury and lifestyle brands with a high level of aesthetic and operational maturity.(ref : iimjobs.com)
