This role involves building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating across teams to support business intelligence initiatives.

About the Role

Role : Snowflake Developer

Experience : 4-9 yrs

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL / ELT processes using Snowflake and Python.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation and reporting.

Integrate data from various sources including SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel files.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and configuration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.

Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing via Confluence and JIRA.

Qualifications

7+ years of IT experience in data engineering or related roles.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, data sharing, etc.).

Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.

Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL stored procedures.

Experience working with SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel for data ingestion and preparation.

Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Ability to troubleshoot configuration and data pipeline issues effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with IDP / Automic scheduling tools.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
