Role :

Associate Director / Director Investment Research

Qualification :

CA or CFA (CFA institute, USA) or MBA (with excellent academic records, from premier business schools preferred)

Relevant Experience :

15+ years

Location : Mumbai (Hybrid)

RM : EVP / CEO

Candidate Industry : KPO / Consulting

Responsibilities :

Manage Investment Research (IR) practice, with P&L responsibility.

Identify growth opportunities through new products / services or market entry.

Provide leadership support to the delivery team, achieve quality and operational excellence.

Assist the business development team in winning new clients.

Establish the best practices in employee engagement and training.

Support marketing initiatives, write thought leadership papers, and represent the company on various media platforms.

Foster strong client relationships.

Lead team-building efforts and related activities.

Preferred Candidate :

Total 15yrs exp, with at least 7+ years of experience in managing teams in investment research.

Experience in KPO industry, handling Private Equity / Investment Banking / Asset Management / Brokerage clients.

Relevant background in research within the BFSI industry is also considered.

Strong knowledge of finance, macro and business drivers, valuation methodologies and preparation of investor pitch documents.

Able to provide strategic insights and financial analysis to buy-side and sell-side clients.

Manage equity research processes, including coverage of global stocks, financial modeling, and valuation assessments.

Lead investment due diligence for private equity, M&A advisory, and corporate finance clients.

Essential to have exposure to business development activities such as being able to identify appropriate solutions and capabilities for prospective clients, preparing pitch decks and proposals, and participating in business development meetings with prospective clients. Should also be able to provide strategic input into the business development process for the IR vertical.

Ideally, experience across multiple research domains, including equity and credit markets, investment banking, business strategies, and market assessment.
