Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Designer (Individual Contributor) to join our Product design team and drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, build and implementation of Nykaa’s multi-brand Design System, and our internal CMS tool, Display Network.

The ideal candidate will take a systems-mindset to build and integrate consistent, efficient components across the product portfolio. They appreciate that both Design System and Display Network are products in themselves with specific users - designers, developers, internet operations, and solve for their unique requirements.

Design Systems :

Lumi is Nykaa’s multi-brand design system for building interfaces for Nykaa’s customer-facing and internal products. Its core purpose is to help our users collaborate better together.

In this role, you will :

• Own the design, implementation and maintenance of our design systems visual language including typography, color, iconography and components along with the tools and resources to support the system.
• Maintain design documentation with proper getting started guides, usage guidelines and examples to assist designers and developers with correct implementation.
• Champion accessibility process across the design and engineering team along with accessibility guidelines
• Maintain our design system’s Figma libraries.
• Hold retrospectives & gather input from director-level peers of product design and development teams.
• Conduct end-to-end audits of our UI, visuals and design system, come up with designs to solve for discrepancies and push the visual design system forward
• Present the system’s mission, library, and process to other groups, including product managers, UX Writers, and design and development teams throughout the enterprise.

Display Network :

The display network is our in-house CMS tool, which powers ads and widgets across all of Nykaa’s businesses. It enables our business, site management, and communications design teams to create dynamic landing pages serving various customer and business needs. It truly powers the first impression every user has of Nykaa.
