Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with deep expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, and CI / CD integrations . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) , Rest Assured (Java-based) , and modern QA practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for UI testing (Playwright, Selenium) and API testing (Rest Assured and related tools).

Create and execute automated test suites for RESTful APIs , validating request / response payloads, headers, status codes, and data integrity.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather requirements, define test scenarios, and deliver high-quality test coverage.

Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for both automated and manual testing.

Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.

Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis , and log / report bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Generate and present test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards to stakeholders.

Continuously enhance test automation frameworks, QA best practices, and processes to improve overall efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8 years of professional experience in QA automation and software testing.

Proven hands-on expertise in :

Playwright (TypeScript) – mandatory

Rest Assured (Java-based) for API automation

Postman or equivalent tools for manual API testing

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols .

Experience with test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar .

Familiarity with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Proficient in Git-based version control and branching strategies.

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
