Job description

Enterprise Architecture & Governance

Be part of the LS IT Marketing & Sales , defining guiding principles, reference architectures, and governance frameworks for AI (Agentforce and Merck's own myGPT).
Translate business use cases into enterprise-level Agentic solutions that scale across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud. Including other applications like SAP, Genesys, UIPath
Ensure adherence to compliance and security standards in alignment with Merck KGaA’s enterprise IT and regulatory requirements.

AI-Driven DevOps & Automation

Architect multi-agent DevOps pipelines, integrating Agentforce, MCP, and LangChain frameworks to automate packaging, testing, and deployments.

Embed Agentforce HITL (human-in-the-loop) patterns for secure, auditable automation in regulated contexts.

Automate security and infrastructure processes including IP-range updates, Named Credential management, and TLS / JWT flows.

Data Cloud & Agentforce Innovation

Design Data Clean Rooms and enrichment pipelines for compliant 2nd- and 3rd-party data usage in life sciences.

Implement conversation-aware Agentforce bots, enabling compliant, secure patient and customer interactions.

Integrate external vector stores and AI models for smarter, context-rich Salesforce automations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

Partner with business leaders, commercial, and IT functions to align architecture with enterprise roadmaps.

Mentor architects, developers, and administrators; build capabilities in AI-augmented Salesforce delivery.

Champion innovation in Salesforce & AI while ensuring risk management, auditability, and compliance.
