Job Title : Head / VP - Business Development / Sales - BPO / ITes
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Growth Planning : Develop and implement business development strategies focused on BPO service expansion, revenue growth and market penetration aligned with the organization's long-term vision
- New Client Acquisition : Identify, target, and secure new BPO clients across industries (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, travel, telecom, retail) through proactive lead generation, RFP / RFI participation and industry networking.
- Client Relationship Management : Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with clients by acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring consistent value delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Leadership & Enablement : Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing business development team. Set sales targets, track KPIs and drive execution across geographies and verticals.
- Industry & Market Intelligence : Stay abreast of BPO market dynamics, customer expectations, emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI) and competitive positioning to tailor offerings effectively.
- Bid Management & Negotiations : Lead the end-to-end bid process including proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to maximize win rates and profitability.
- Cross-functional Coordination : Collaborate with solution architects, operations, delivery and finance teams to ensure feasibility, operational readiness and smooth client onboarding.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).10-15 years of progressive experience in BPO business development or enterprise sales, with 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.Deep understanding of outsourcing models and outcome based Models (onshore, offshore, nearshore), SLA / KPI structures and global delivery methodologies.Proven track record of closing mid to large-scale BPO deals across geographies.Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Expertise in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.Willingness to travel domestic & internationally for client engagements, industry conferences and market expansion.(ref : iimjobs.com)
