Role Overview

We are looking for a Graphic Design Trainee to support our Schbang Labs team in creating cutting-edge design assets for digital communication, especially WhatsApp and web formats.

You will collaborate with our creative and marketing teams to bring ideas to life, drive visual storytelling, and build scalable asset systems for brands.

This traineeship provides hands-on exposure to digital brand communication and an opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging and high-impact creatives for WhatsApp, Social Media, and Web
• Conceptualize ideas based on campaign and product briefs
• Translate brand communication into visually compelling formats
• Design banners, social posts, layouts, iconography, and motion design snippets (bonus)
• Maintain brand consistency across all visuals
• Prepare organized files & maintain clean design workflows
• Work closely with the creative, tech, and content teams

Required Skills

Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual balance

Proficiency in design tools (Figma / Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator)

Ability to think conceptually and visually communicate ideas

Awareness of digital content formats & performance-first design

Attention to detail and eye for clean, modern design

Curiosity to learn emerging creative & marketing tech trends

Bonus Skills

Motion Graphics basics (After Effects / Premier Pro)

UI / UX understanding

Basic knowledge of marketing communication

Eligibility

Recent graduates / final-year design students

Portfolio demonstrating design capability is mandatory

Prior internship experience in digital design is a plus

Assignment Requirement

Shortlisted candidates will complete a design assignment to evaluate :

Visual clarity & aesthetic

Conceptual strength & communication impact

Brand alignment & creatives for small-screen formats (WhatsApp)

File hygiene & structure
