Role & responsibilities
- Sales Leadership : Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive company growth and expand market presence.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive threats.
- Sales Performance Monitoring : Track and analyse sales metrics and performance, preparing regular reports for upper management.
- Forecasting and Planning : Work with senior management to create accurate sales forecasts, set sales goals, and develop action plans to meet targets.
- Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to customer acquisition and retention.
- Negotiation & Closing : Lead negotiations with key clients and close high-value deals, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
- Sales Reporting : Regularly update management on the sales pipeline, progress towards targets, and any issues or concerns that may impact performance.
- Core Responsibilities : The candidate's prime responsibility is to develop the southern region business. He / she will be responsible for developing and creating New Customers for Polymers, Plastics, and petrochemicals, dealing with Principals and Suppliers, and Managing day-to-day sales and marketing activities with smooth delivery & dispatch of goods and on-time payment recovery from customers.
