About the Role The Site Lead – India will provide strategic, operational, and cultural leadership for the India operations, driving business growth, operational excellence, and innovation across the organization. This role serves as the senior-most leader for India, responsible for aligning local execution with the company’s global vision, values, and strategic priorities. The incumbent will lead the India Management Team and partner closely with global leaders across functions such as Technology, Data Analytics, Customer Experience, HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure the optimal performance and scalability of the India center. This position requires a visionary, hands-on leader with strong influencing skills, global stakeholder management experience, and a proven record of building and scaling high-performing teams in complex, matrixed environments. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance Provide strategic direction for the India entity, ensuring alignment with global business goals and priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Leadership Team, representing India operations in strategic discussions. Ensure compliance with all local statutory, legal, and financial regulations. Drive governance and operational excellence across all functions. Operational Excellence & Delivery Oversee India-based delivery teams to ensure efficiency, quality, and innovation. Partner with global heads to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and achieve cost efficiency. Foster collaboration across HR, Facilities, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams. Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. People & Culture Leadership Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of senior leaders and professionals. Cultivate a strong organizational culture aligned with global values. Champion talent development, inclusion, and retention strategies. Serve as a mentor and coach, building leadership capability and succession pipelines. Stakeholder Management & External Representation Serve as the external face of the organization in India—representing the company with industry bodies, government agencies, and external partners. Strengthen collaboration between global teams and India operations through transparent communication and cross-border initiatives. Drive local brand positioning and employer branding efforts in the India talent market. Financial & Business Management Own the India P&L and ensure sustainable business growth. Identify and execute on strategic opportunities to improve service delivery and margins. Provide region-specific strategic guidance to IT, HR, and Operations teams. Support global initiatives in data analytics, customer experience, and digital transformation. Key Qualifications & Experience 20+ years of overall experience, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles within global technology or product organizations. Proven success in setting up or expanding India development centers for multinational companies. Deep understanding of data analytics, customer experience platforms, and technology-led operations. Strong background in system operations, analytics, technology services, and business transformation. Experience in managing large, complex teams across functions such as HR, IT, Legal, and Finance. Exceptional ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority. Excellent business judgment, financial acumen, and ethical integrity.
