Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Developer

Job Summary :

As a Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing marketing automation features within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. You will work closely with marketing teams, business analysts, and other developers to implement solutions that enhance campaign management, customer engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Development and Customization :

Design and develop customized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing to support marketing automation, campaign management, customer journeys, and event management.

Customize Dynamics 365 Marketing forms, pages, and templates to improve user experience and marketing workflow.

Develop and manage custom plugins, workflows, and Power Automate flows to support automation and integration of marketing functions.

Implement and manage customer segmentation, lead scoring, and marketing insights using Dynamics 365 Marketing.

Collaboration and Solution Design :

Work closely with marketing teams to understand business goals and requirements for marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to define solution architectures that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Provide input into design sessions to ensure best practices are applied in the configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 Marketing.

Integration and Data Management :

Integrate Dynamics 365 Marketing with other platforms, including Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics Customer Insights, and third-party marketing tools such as email platforms and social media.

Design and implement data flows to ensure seamless data integration between Dynamics Marketing and other enterprise systems.

Ensure data integrity and security across marketing applications and platforms.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

Develop and execute test cases to validate marketing automation functionalities, workflows, and integrations.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the development and testing phases, ensuring the smooth implementation of marketing solutions.

Monitor system performance and optimize marketing campaigns to enhance efficiency.

Reporting and Analytics :

Design and configure reports and dashboards to provide insights into campaign performance, lead generation, and customer engagement.

Assist marketing teams in utilizing Dynamics 365 Marketing analytics features to gain insights into marketing effectiveness and customer behavior.

Develop custom reports using Power BI to provide actionable marketing intelligence.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience :

o 4+ years of experience developing and implementing marketing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing or a similar platform.

o Proven experience with marketing automation, customer segmentation, and lead nurturing within the Dynamics environment.

Skills and Competencies :

Technical Skills :

o Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing and related modules (e.g., Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights).

o Proficiency in Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, and Dynamics 365 customization tools.

o Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing marketing pages and forms.

o Familiarity with REST APIs, Web Services, and integration tools such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions.

Marketing Knowledge :

o Deep knowledge of marketing automation concepts, including campaign management, customer journeys, and lead management.

o Understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social media, etc.) and tools (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.).

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

o Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot issues, optimize campaigns, and improve system performance.

o Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Communication and Teamwork :

o Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

o Strong interpersonal skills to ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Microsoft Certified : Dynamics 365 Marketing Functional Consultant Associate or other relevant certifications.

Experience with marketing analytics tools such as Power BI or Google Analytics.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
